Danny Seo, America's Guru of Green, Co-Stars in His First HGTV Special, Red, Hot and Green

Eco-Lifestyle Expert Danny Seo will co-star in his first HGTV Special, entitled Red, Hot and Green, premiering Sunday, June 10th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Red, Hot and Green is a one-hour special devoted to "green" design. The show will present viewers with ideas on how to incorporate "green" elements into their own home décor, and demonstrate that today's environmentally-focused designs can be fresh, stylish and accessible. The talented "green team"— which also stars Craftsman and green enthusiast Carter Oosterhouse—will highlight everything from appealing room makeovers to landscaping options that conserve water, as well as eco-appropriate building materials and construction techniques. "I'm both a style snob and ardent environmentalist, " says Danny Seo, "so not only does it have to be great green solution, it has to be absolutely gorgeous, too."

Danny Seo, who is no stranger to environmental lifestyle, recently celebrated his 30th birthday on Earth Day. A guest on THE EARLY SHOW, TODAY, OPRAH, and THE VIEW, among others, Danny Seo has been named "40 Under 40 To Watch" by Crains New York Business, and one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World." The San Francisco Chronicle has also boasted, "The next Martha Stewart is young, green and a guy."

As Editor-at-Large of Country Home magazine, Danny reaches 7.8 million readers each month with his "Fresh Thinking" column; he was recently was the co-guest editor of Elle's green issue. He's also the author of six bestselling books, including his current Simply Green Parties and Simply Green Giving (Collins, an Imprint of HarperCollins).

His new DVD, Simple Steps to a Greener Home (GT Media/Gaiam), was shot in Danny's Bucks County, PA home, and shows simple and innovative ways to live green.
